Radiolaria OS is a computing architecture with a working execution kernel and runtime. It assembles AI models, programs, solvers, services and devices around a continuing human task, connecting computation, memory, time and each owner’s authority.

The published reference v0.1 includes source code, contracts and recorded demonstrations—a foundation for building domain-specific systems.

Choose a compatible model for the task: smaller, stronger, or none when ordinary code is enough. Compute collapse replaces eligible repeat computation with checked reuse of a still-valid result. Permissions are checked again.

Each demonstration uses the Radiolaria kernel under one shared constitution for work, evidence, time and authority. Domain tasks and adapters change; these common rules remain. The examples show recurring problem patterns that can be adapted to similar tasks in other domains.

TEMPORARY COMPUTING

Ephemeral Computer

The environment closes. The evidence remains.

From a user's photo-and-video request, the Radiolaria kernel assembled available capabilities into a temporary computing environment. When the audio process was deliberately stopped, photo results survived and only affected media work was recomputed. Approved output remained after teardown; a cryptographically anchored evidence package could still be checked offline.

QUANTUM OPTIMIZATION

Wedding Seating

Quantum samples became checked plans.

In a 12-guest instance of an academic optimization problem, Gemini changed requirements that reached actual computation. Separately, two Rigetti Cepheus-1-108Q jobs through Amazon Braket returned 2,000 measurements. Original-condition checks filtered invalid candidates; selected valid measured plans were consumed and saved without classical repair.

Published incident reports, security research and operational requirements inform concrete runtime tests: injected instructions, private-data disclosure, stale permission, forged completion and repeated effects. Each case identifies the boundary that refuses the invalid path and a permitted continuation. Follow the risk into the checks and recorded outcome—not just a list of safety promises.

Football

An outside AI wrote the domain. The kernel ran it.

An external AI received a general HOW kit and a football-pitch booking WHAT, without the target implementation. Its code actually ran the workflow: revised requests, offers, consent checks and mock bookings. After recorded corrections, it passed a 16-case independent examination and was separately admitted as a new domain on the existing kernel.

Airline

One purchase. Three independent Roots.

Client, airline and bank coordinated a flight purchase without a superior controller taking over their decisions. Twelve real Gemini calls informed separate owner-specific work. The selected offer, bank authorization, ticket and purchase receipt were bound to the same transaction, while each owner kept its own authority and final record.

Supplier

One branch proceeds. Another stays blocked.

A water-filter procurement request brought inventory, contracts, insurance, invoices and bank policy into one task. Six real Gemini calls informed the review. Corrected evidence and separate approval let Supplier A’s payment branch complete in the mock bank; Supplier B stayed blocked and shipment remained held. Useful progress did not require inventing an all-clear.

RESEARCH TO EXECUTABLE CHECKS

Landslide Sentinel

Published monitoring problems became runnable checks.

Ten engineering mappings connect twelve published sources to software responses for sensor failure, stale measurements, shared-source evidence and alarm recovery. Sentinel changes its investigation, distinguishes reduced visibility from insufficient evidence, and continues authorized local work while an optional worker waits. Each mapping links the criterion to implementation and a recorded result.

A paid period is not permission to renew.

Model roles interpret preferences and provider terms; user, bank, provider and device keep separate decisions. Paid periods, playback sessions and device grants have separate lifetimes. Changed renewal terms require fresh consent. A saved payment does not buy another period, and an expired grant cannot be stretched to keep playback alive.

One owner’s signed evidence changed another owner’s calculation from 96 to 102 while the receiver’s limit stayed 100. Disclosure, source checks and local decisions remained separate. Different demonstrations. One execution model.

An intention becomes bounded Work. Models, programs, services and devices contribute results that later work actually uses. Time and current evidence determine what remains applicable; memory preserves useful history. Independent owners retain their own decisions.

Workspace shows useful continuation after a resource loss. Experience changes which work is performed or reused. External DRS turns another owner's checked result into a local input without transferring their authority. These relationships concern continuing useful work as well as its boundaries.

Build a capability for the next use, too.

A new shop needs its own catalogue, prices and rules. It need not require a completely new invention of ordering. A new device has its own physical properties; a shared capability could make them available to more tasks.

This is the horizon: reusable capabilities with local data, policy and decisions. The reference supplies bounded mechanisms and examples. Wider infrastructure, compatibility and adoption remain work to build.
