Landslide Sentinel

Software responses to debris-flow monitoring challenges: ten engineering mappings link twelve published context sources to requirements, executable criteria, recorded scenarios and evidence. A changed monitoring note also selects a different investigation and actual native work.

Website explanation ·

Research-to-execution map.

A monitoring task needs to know whether its observations still support the next decision. In the recorded LS2R2 contrast, a changed note leads Gemini to select a reserve-history investigation instead of a metadata check. Native work reads the series, and a diagnostic consumes the returned measurements.

That makes the choice inspectable: the explanation can be followed to the work performed and the evidence it used. Separate controlled profiles examine late or related observations and useful local continuation while an optional worker waits.

The research-to-software map below turns published questions into the team's own criteria. These synthetic profiles are not a field landslide warning trial, certification or endorsement by the cited researchers.

Start with the research-to-software map

Landslide Sentinel · 12 context references · 10 software criteria · recorded responses. The research requirements map is the entry point: published monitoring concerns lead to the team's own software criteria and named C/S/D evidence records. This page explains that mapping. It does not attribute Radiolaria requirements, approval or endorsement to the cited scientists.

The human task is to keep a monitoring decision explainable when a sensor disappears, an old observation arrives late, two messages share one upstream source, or optional reasoning is still pending. A useful monitoring cell must know both what it can still do and which conclusions its evidence no longer supports.

Questions become ten testable criteria

The following is a compact reading of /matrix in the published map. Reference titles and attribution come from /references; the table describes the team's software mapping, not a new review of the scientific literature.

A changed note selects different executed work

In LS2R2, the first three genuine Gemini contributions share one current composition. LOCAL_SLOPE_ANALYST selects REFERENCE_INTEGRITY; CLOUD_ENVIRONMENTAL_ANALYST selects SPATIAL_CONTEXT_APPLICABILITY; ADVERSARIAL_SENSOR_REVIEWER also selects REFERENCE_INTEGRITY. Intended duty and actual CLOUD_LLM origin are separate fields. The latest live lane has five recorded Gemini requests overall; “three contributions” describes the first shared composition, not the total lane.

Before the note-only contrast, Work checks current channel/calibration metadata and lineage. The changed source-bound note leads the local analyst to INDEPENDENT_RESERVE_SERIES. Runtime binds the semantic contribution to a supported Work program; an admitted native read supplies reserve history, and the diagnostic consumes that returned series. Afterward, current Root review accepts the bounded informational result.

The safe-derived projection at ref 800f38c3407b3f4ec93dc943c977ffeecb614881 records:

/artifacts/1/payload/safe_document/compositions/0/output/selection
  REFERENCE_INTEGRITY
/artifacts/1/payload/safe_document/compositions/1/output/selection
  INDEPENDENT_RESERVE_SERIES

At the second composition's /output/checks/0/detail, measured_span=20 seconds, range_value=150 micrometres and outcome=BOUNDED_CONSISTENT bind the explanation to native work and its receipt_ref. The policy in that record requires at least three samples and a maximum range of 1,000 micrometres. These are finite synthetic scenario criteria, not validated operational thresholds.

A selected investigation changes the computation

The LS2R2 safe projection records metadata checking followed by native reserve-series work with a measured span and range.

Record: LS2R2 compositions 0 and 1. Class: public safe derived EVIDENCE ONLY. Scope: Safe-derived LS2R2 CLOUD_LLM projection; synthetic physical context; no raw local_only_drs.json inspection claimed.

Meaning reaches a checker and an actual consumer

The technical appendix, sections 4–9 follows the path through semantic_adapter_v01.bind, kernel_adapter_v01.semantic_source, the common bounded evidence context and sentinel.diagnostic.v01. The returned diagnostic, source references and reason pass local shape, duty and source checks. References are citations; they do not themselves request arbitrary acquisition or change policy.

The three-role composition consumes current metadata and synthetic site identity while retaining physical_mapping=NOT_ESTABLISHED. Its current Root result has permission_created=false and effect_requested=false. Accepting this diagnostic information does not sound a siren. A signal effect requires its own current action basis and admitted capability.

An optional worker waited; local work continued

The separate Incident Atlas Sentinel profile uses CONTROLLED_BARRIER_STUB. Its selected published fields report a still-live pending worker alongside a current local signal and later refusal role_current_context for stale semantic material. This establishes a controlled continuation relation, not measured cloud latency.

The broader controlled story preserves distinct incident state, signal state, outbox delivery and acknowledgement. Missing messages or cleanup do not prove recovery. A fresh measured sequence supports a separate OFF action. Likewise, expired calibration or policy can invalidate current reuse while the previous observation remains in history. The Atlas gives the refusal/continuation pairs; its run is not merged with LS2R2's cloud-model lane.

This is published metadata, not a new binary download check. The earlier expanded V01 has a different identity.

This is the same kernel

Wedding also binds meaning to changed computation. Workspace separates affected work from useful retained results. External DRS preserves history while checking current applicability again. The one-kernel map and Geometry connect those relations without making the physical or provider profiles identical.

Case identity

LS2R2 CLOUD_LLM safe-derived projection; separate controlled chronological and Incident Atlas profiles

Task: Keep a local monitoring task intelligible as evidence, connectivity and optional reasoning change; use only currently applicable observations for an action.

Roles: Research sources providing context, not endorsement; Local monitoring operator and SiteSafetyRoot; Persistent Host and admitted local mock capabilities; Gemini in the separate LS2R2 CLOUD_LLM lane; Native diagnostic and reserve-series work; Controlled optional worker in the separate Atlas profile.

Observed result: A note-bound semantic contrast selects metadata checking or native reserve-history work; controlled profiles separately preserve useful local continuation and require measured recovery.

Limits:

  • Synthetic physical domain; no new field trial or landslide-prediction accuracy claim
  • Research-to-software mapping is the team’s work, not endorsement by cited researchers
  • Public safe-derived projection, not reopened raw local_only_drs.json
  • Atlas CONTROLLED_BARRIER_STUB does not measure cloud latency
